Bio

For many years, I've been creating a conlang (constructed language) that is made up of some 7 to 8 thousand 'modern' hieroglyphs. I use Ancient Egyptian, Chinese, and American Sign Language of the Deaf as inspiration, then remold the shapes to fit the style I've established for my language called Tapissary. I also draw, paint and sculpt. I enjoy sculpting my miniature city that absorb Tapissary as its native language. Travel is also one of my passions, as are swimming, bicycling, and hiking. I speak French, and an elementary level of Japanese. Long ago I used to be fluent in Sign Language, and was an interpreter for the deaf.
